More Cancellations: Carly Simon All Star Tribute Charity Show at Carnegie Hall for Underserved Students Postponed til Fall

Share

The Carly Simon show set for March 19th will be rescheduled for fall. Michael Dorf of City Winery writes:

Due to the Coronavirus spread, Carnegie Hall has prudently cancelled all shows for the rest of March.  We are working to reschedule the Music of Carly Simon for sometime this Fall.  Not only Carly herself, but many of the artists are first disappointed, but also very encouraged to settle on the new date and have this special tribute.

Meanwhile, this being a fundraiser supporting non-profit organizations all providing critical funds for underserved youth, we hope you all can help by either: A) simply transferring your tickets to the new date when that becomes clear and/or B) consider donating one, two or a portion of your tickets to the cause.  We divide up the net proceeds of this event between the following organizations:  Little Kids Rock, Grammy in the Schools, Young Audiences, Church Street, The Orchestra Now, Center for Arts Education, D’Addario Foundation, Sonic Arts for All, VHI Save the Music, and Jazz House Kids.

We very much hope you will not request a full refund at this time, but either come to our future date, and/or consider donating one or all of your tickets to these important organizations.  However, if you must have a refund, please send us a note at……….Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. We will get thru this
