The Adele phenom continues.
She’s number 1 again this week, selling over 100K CDs and digital downloads. She even had enough streams to finish at the top of that chart on hitsdailydouble. Adele also around 20,000 in sales of prior albums.
Justin Bieber and Rihanna were far in the distance. Rihanna sold 33,500 copies of “Anti.” Justin Bieber moved about 20,900 copies of “Purpose.” Bieber streamed around 50,000 times. But it wasn’t enough to overcome Adele.
Sales were pretty lackluster elsewhere on the chart. The number 50 entry, One Direction’s “Made in the AM,” sold just under 6,000 copies.
