Actress Selma Blair– very underrated– has posted to Instagram that she has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The diagnosis was made on August 16th by actress Elizabeth Berkeley’s brother, Dr. Jason Berkeley. Selma says: “I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken gps…I am in the thick of it but I hope to give some hope to others. And even to myself. You can’t get help unless you ask. It can be overwhelming in the beginning. You want to sleep. You always want to sleep. So I don’t have answers.”
Selma is 46, and currently stars in the Netflix series, “Another Life.” She works all the time but her most famous movie was “Cruel Intentions” from 1999. She was Charlie Sheen’s original co-star in the “Anger Management” series, but left after not being able to endure Sheen. (Wise.) She was married from 2004 to 2006 to Ahmet Zappa, son of musician Frank Zappa. She has a 7 year old son from another relationship. She’s a damn good actress, and this is a lousy curve ball. Wishing her all the best. It sounds like she’s got a good support network and excellent medical care.
