Exclusive from inside the Jackson house in Calabasas: this isn’t the first time Paris Jackson has tried to hurt herself. Inside the house it’s known that she’s a cutter (TMZ has some photos that indicate that). She tried to cut her wrists this time.

“She’s a handful for the Jacksons,” says my source, “They dont know what to do. Paris suffers from depression. She’s lonely, she thinks no one loves her. Or is listening to her. This wasn’t about not going to a Marilyn Manson concert. She doesn’t want to be controlled or told what to do.”

My sources say Paris has also asked to be emancipated. But a lot of these things are typical for 15 year old girls who are smart and rebellious. Add to that all her other pressures and Paris has some big issues. One of them will be whether Debbie Rowe now tries to gain legal custody and take her daughter out of the Jackson home.

Meantime the sheriffs department in Calabasas has confirmed transporting a patient to the hospital after a medical emergency.

Very upsetting news that Paris Jackson, the 15 year old daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, may have attempted suicide. ET says Rowe confirmed for them that Paris is hospitalized after the attempt. (Rowe is very close with an ET producer.) She is most likely in West Hills Hospital near Calabasas, California.

But Paris, who seems like a gifted, verbal child, was sending out some odd Tweets on Twitter in the last few days about not sleeping and not being able to study.

Of course, she’s under pressure about making a new relationship with Rowe, and with the crazy trial going on in Los Angeles about her father’s death. None of that is easy. But this may have been catalyzed by something to do with a boy. She wrote on May 28th:

“don’t kiss someone one day if you plan on seeing someone else the next day”

On May 29th Paris wrote “Love is dumb and so are you”

And then on June 3rd: “Don’t listen to a word I say. The screams all sound the same”

The last is a quote from lyrics by a song from Of Monsters and Men. Paris often quotes lyrics and some of them are dark. But obviously there’s too much pressure on this girl.

Exclusive: Are you getting ready for the Oscars? Lee Daniels is. The director of “Precious” screened “The Butler” two nights ago in New York for family and friends–this was the final cut he told them. Among those in the audience: cast members Forest Whitaker, who saw his film for the first time, singer-actor Lenny Kravitz, and Cuba Gooding Jr. I am told that the screening at Technicolor editing was a huge success. Whitaker was “thrilled.” Actually “he was crying,” said a source.

Audience members cited Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey, David Oyelowo (who plays their son), and Gooding. I was also told that Alan Rickman and Jane Fonda as Ronald and Nancy Reagan are “iconic” and make indelible impressions. “The Butler” is released on August 12th, same day as “The Help,” with an eye toward multiple Oscar nominations. From the descriptions I got, this won’t be an issue.

“The Butler” is one of two big big big movies from The Weinstein Company this summer and fall pitched for the Oscars– the other is “August: Osage County” starring Meryl Streep. They have others but these are the two biggies we can expect to see along with things like Woody Allen’s “Blue Jasmine,” Joel Coen’s “Inside Llewyn Davis,” Alexander Payne’s “Nebraska,” maybe Martin Scorsese’s “Wolf  of Wall Street” and so on.

It’s quite a distinction. “Mad Men” is the only current TV series on the Writers Guild list of top 25 shows of all time. The only other recent series is “Breaking Bad.” The top show for all time, according to a poll of WGA writers, is “The Sopranos,” followed by “The Twilight Zone.” As the list widens out to its full 101 of all time, some other series like Downton Abbey and The Colbert Report are noted. You’ll see “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “Seinfeld” up there as well. As much I love “The Sopranos,” I think I would have chosen “I Love Lucy” as the template for almost all TV. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie seemed closer than ever Sunday night in London at the premiere of “World War Z.” They had two of their six kids with them– Pax and Maddox. They had friends and family. And they’ve survived this latest harrowing human episode, Angelina’s double mastectomy, as well as the death of her aunt. I’ve spent time with them before during movie launches. But I have to say, they are a lovely, close knit team. There’s nothing fake about it. Weddings rings or not they are in it for good.

“I don’t know what I’d do without her,” Brad said at the “WWZ” after party. It was late and was a little emotional. “She keeps it all going.”

Angelina looked beautiful all night. But what really excited her was Brad’s success. When told “World War Z” was terrific fun, and that Pitt had done a good job, she lit up. “You don’t know how hard he worked on this,” she said. She literally glowed with good will for her partner and father of her children.

Unlike many movie stars, they are a pleasure to be around. At the after party, a reception in the Corinthia Hotel following the extraordinary Muse concert , Jolie and Pitt stayed to the very end. They talked to everyone, took pictures with strangers, and seemed geniunely interested in what was going on.

Brad sat down and talked with co-star Mirielle Enos (from TV’s “The Killing”), Angie chatted with young guys who were friends of friends. CAA agent Bryan Lourd and Sony Pictures chief Amy Pascal came by to wish him well, and to support director Forster (he made “Quantum of Solace” for Pascal).

Pitt and Jolie reminded me of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, the other happy “Hollywood” couple. They’ve been through good times and bad, and now it’s all come together.

And I did love Angelina on that black carpet before the movie started. Fans were handing her gifts, asking about her health, holding up signs. She wasn’t just gracious but enthusiastic. It’s rare at her level. And she wasn’t doing it win points. Nice nice nice.

WITH UPDATES: What a relief: after all the crazy stories, Marc Forster’s World War Z is going to be a hit summer blockbuster. The movie premiered tonight in London at a big black carpet event in Leicester Square. Paramount brought me here and I was worried that this would be a difficult task.

Not at all. Brad Pitt easily pulls off the role of hero as the world is overcome by a virus that turns millions into zombies. Forster and Pitt play it straight, no laughs or inside jokes.

They build characters and tension so that the audience is really involved in the story. Don’t get me wrong. This isn’t The King’s Speech. WWZ is a popcorn movie on the level of Independence Day. But like that summer hit, Forster’s film never flags and is always entertaining.

MORE Paramount Pictures is launching “World War Z” around the world before a New York premiere on June 17th. On Sunday night they kicked off the festivities by producing a rock concert with the group Muse right after the big screening. Muse’s music is heard all through the movie.

The concert, with pyrotechnics, lasted about 45 minutes and was staged in the Royal Horseguard Parade, a place they say has never had am event put on by outsiders. It’s just where the royal family sometimes hosts events. About 15,000 people crowded into this unique setting. Muse rocked the crowd which was orderly but enthusiastic.

Among the guests: actress Jessica Chastain showed up unexpectedly with her extremely pleasant and hardworking Moncler executive boyfriend Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were also right there, along with director Forster the whole cast, various British actors and celebrities, too. There’s no question everyone was relieved the movie had gone over so well. Stories about strife on the set, massive reshoots of the last third film of the film, all of it falls away if the movie turns out alright. And “World War Z” has hit written all over it. So everyone was chummy.

Angelina worked the black carpet at the screening,signing dozens upon dozens of autographs, chatting with fans who’d waited to meet her– and it’s not her movie. She looked amazing as usual in a ful length black Yves St Laurent gown. A fan handed her a stuffed bear holding a heart at one end of the line. Way down at the other, Angelina gave it to a little girl who’d been waiting with her mother. She also took fans’ cameras and orchestrated photos.

“You’re just like a director,” a fan said.

“I am a director,” Jolie replied cheerily.

At the Muse concert, where everyone stood on a low platform facing the stage, I congratulated Brad on starting a possible franchise with “World War Z.” The door is definitely left open for parts 2 and 3. “We’re not really franchise people,” he said, holding Angelina’s hand. Well, they are now.

And who liked the movie most? Jolie and Pitt brought two of their three sons, Pax and Maddox. The kids brought friends and all they watched the movie together. And here’s a little scoop if you’ve read this far: Maddox got to play a child zombie. Even if you can’t spot him he’s there. “We have him in the dark,” Brad said. “Child zombies,” he said, rolling his eyes. That might not play so well.
