Kim Jong Un Tells James Franco in Film: “I’ve Got a Butt Hole and It’s Working Overtime”

1

“Do you pee and poo?” This is a conversation between Kim Jung Un and Dave Skylark, played by James franco, in “The Interview.” Kim reassures Dave– while they drink margaritas after shooting hoops– that he is human. “So you have a butt hole?” Kim: “I have a butt hole, and it’s working over time.”

As I am now watching my $5.99 download of the film, I’m picking things out. Frist of all, yes Brian Williams, Scott Pelley and a slew of news people conclude that Kim is the modern Hitler. “A lot of people say you’re bat shit crazy,” Skylark offers. “They’re not wrong,” responds Kim. “They called me incompetent.”

Orgy scene: Kim tells Dave “there’s one thing I get tons of — pussy!” This is after Kim tells Dave that his father, Kim Jong Il, said “He said my brothers and I were all too feminine. That our luxurious lifestyles turned us into homosexuals.” Dave asks Kim, “Did he say margaritas are gay?”

the interview champagneWell, the so called orgy scene takes place in a bar. Kim– played by Randall Park– lands a big kiss on Dave’s lips when they play spin the bottle with bikini clad call girls. The girls also make out with each other, and play with a giant sex toy shaped as a missile.  Kim is NOT naked but the women are. A shirtless Franco sprays Champagne at Kim and vice versa in slow motion with topless girls.

Keep refreshing…

I’ve got to say something here– the movie is very funny. It’s completely outrageous. Franco is very very good as Dave Skylark. And I already had a crush on Lizzy Caplan. Randall Park is wickedly on point. But why did Rogen use the actual name Kim Jong Un and the real country? A made up name would have been just as funny. There are comparisons to “Borat.” He used Kazakhstan. But they aren’t a nuclear threat with a crazy dictator.  Otherwise, audiences should howl while looking over their shoulders for terrorists. A great movie to watch at home, frankly. Perfect for VOD.

Is there any precedent for mocking a dictator? Sure. Charlie Chaplin, Mel Brooks and Quentin Tarantino have had their fun with Hitler. But we won the war. Hitler is dead. Fifty, sixty years had passed. Kim Jong Un is sitting there right now. Can he take a joke? Frankly, “The Interview” hips him up a lot. He may get more action now.

“The Interview” Scores Manhattan: Lincoln Center Film Society Schedules Two Shows a Day

0

I really like Kent Jones, but really: the Film Society of Lincoln Center has just announced they will be the home for “The Interview.” They’re going to show it once in the morning at 10:45am and again at night 11:30pm. Do they think this is Kurosawa? Or a film from a suppressed regime? This is Seth Rogen. There are dick jokes. And ‘bro’ jokes. And toilet humor galore. And yes, the dictator of North Korea is assassinated while Katy Perry’s “Firework” is playing. Well, it’s good money for Lincoln Center. Go for it, kids!

Madonna Hacked Again, Leaking Once More: 14 More Tracks On Line Somewhere– N Korea Not Blamed (Yet)

0

Madonna has been hacked and is leaking once again. She needs Depends at this point! Fourteen more tracks are somewhere on the internet — I haven’t heard them yet. One features Pharrell, of course. Is this the work of a villain? North Korea? Sony? Guardians of Peace? The actual GOP? It’s hard to believe that after the first batch of songs leaked, and were “rushed” onto iTunes, more security measures weren’t in place. I guess next week we get the next batch on iTunes. And so on. Where are all the emails between Amy Pascal and Madonna re: Kabbalah? That’s next!

Tracklist, courtesy of website Idolator:
tracks leaked today:

Exclusive: Sony Registers “See The Interview” Website in Panama, Where There Are Links

0

Most Sony websites are registered in the US, with Sony’s Culver City address listed. The website for the movie “The Interview” was updated that way on December 17th, the same day Sony cancelled the movie.

But the website to rent the movie digitally– seetheinterview.com — is registered in Panama, outside the US. All the info for the site owner is hidden.

Panama, famously, has links. Only they aren’t digital. They’re in the canals.

Sony registered www.seetheinterview.com on December 21st, or rather updated it. It looks like the url existed prior to that. That’s fast work considering the studio said the movie was not going to be released at all. Bravo!

Sony Puts “The Interview” on 4 Digital Services, Guardians of Peace Be Damned!

0

Okay, so now, “The “Interview” will be unavoidable. Sony is putting it on four digital plaforms. Maybe have a little Korean BBQ. Invite over the Guardians of Peace! First it was too dangerous to to show and no one can see it. Four days later, everyone can see it. That’s America for you! How utterly weird this all is.

press release:

Sony Pictures To Distribute “The Interview” Online Beginning Christmas Eve Through Google Play, YouTube Movies, Microsoft’s Xbox Video and Dedicated Website

Film To Be Widely Available On Demand Throughout The United States

CULVER CITY, Calif., Dec. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Sony Pictures Entertainment announced that The Interview will be available online across the United States starting today, Christmas Eve.

As of 10:00 a.m. PST, the film will be available to rent in HD on Google Play, YouTube Movies, Microsoft’s Xbox Video and the dedicated website www.seetheinterview.com at a price of $5.99. The film can also be purchased in HD for $14.99.

“It has always been Sony’s intention to have a national platform on which to release this film,” said Michael Lynton, Chairman and CEO of Sony Entertainment. “With that in mind, we reached out to Google, Microsoft and other partners last Wednesday, December 17th, when it became clear our initial release plans were not possible. We are pleased we can now join with our partners to offer the film nation-wide today.

“We never stopped pursuing as wide a release as possible for The Interview. It was essential for our studio to release this movie, especially given the assault upon our business and our employees by those who wanted to stop free speech. We chose the path of digital distribution first so as to reach as many people as possible on opening day, and we continue to seek other partners and platforms to further expand the release.”

“I want to thank Google and Microsoft for helping make this a reality. This release represents our commitment to our filmmakers and free speech. While we couldn’t have predicted the road this movie traveled to get to this moment, I’m proud our fight was not for nothing and that cyber criminals were not able to silence us.

“No doubt the issues we have confronted these last few weeks will not end with this release, but we are gratified to have stood together and confident in our future. I want to thank everyone at Sony Pictures for their dedication and perseverance through what has been an extraordinary and difficult time.”

Fans can watch The Interview on several platforms including:

Google Play: the movie is available to buy or rent at play.google.com, and can be watched in the Play Movies & TV app on Android and iOS phones or tablets, or streamed in the living room via Chromecast, Roku or the Nexus Player.
YouTube: the movie is available at youtube.com/movies and can be watched on the web, in the YouTube app, or on select living room devices like Chromecast, Apple TV, PlayStation and Xbox.
Microsoft’s Xbox Video: the movie is available to buy or rent on the Xbox Video app on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and XboxVideo.com.
SeetheInterview.com: In addition, The Interview is available at the dedicated website www.seetheinterview.com, which is sponsored by Sony Pictures and powered by Kernel and with payments through Stripe, a secure payment platform.

Rosie O’Donnell Poem to Victims of Actor Stephen Collins: “You Were Not to Blame”

0

Rosie O’Donnell puts it to Stephen Collins beautifully. So ridiculous and sad that Collins told Katie Couric he’s not a pedophile. He’s pathetic. Rosie nails it. From her blog. PS It’s a good time to donate money to Rosie’s Theater Kids.

JONI MITCHELL IS ESSENTIAL FOR HEALING
Love Has Many Faces: A Quartet, A Ballet, Waiting to Be Danced

“Not To Blame”

The story hit the news
From coast to coast
They said you beat the girl
You loved the most
Your charitable acts
Seemed out of place
With the beauty
With your fist marks on her face
Your buddies all stood by
They bet their fortunes
And their fame
That she was out of line
And you were not to blame

Six hundred thousand doctors
Are putting on rubber gloves
And they’re poking
At the miseries made of love
They say they’re learning
How to spot
The battered wives
Among all the women
They see bleeding through their lives
I bleed–
For your perversity–
These red words that make a stain
On your white-washed claim that
She was out of line
And you were not to blame

I heard your baby say
When he was only three
“Daddy, let’s get some girls
One for you and one for me.”
His mother had the frailty
You despise
And the looks
You love to drive to suicide
Not one wet eye around
Her lonely little grave
Said, “He was out of line girl
You were not to blame.”

UPDATE The Interview: Manhattan’s 2 Big Indie Theaters Say No, Quad Cancels, But Cinema Village Says Yes

0

SECOND UPDATE 12/24: Quad 4 cancelled. Cinema Village says the first 7 shows are “pretty much” sold out. They have it for a week. So it’s just ONE theater in all of Manhattan.

UPDATE: Cinema Village, on East 12th St., and the Quad 4, on West 13th St. will show the movie. They are very small. Cinema Village is a dank remnant of another era. Quad 4 is one of 4 screens in a small complex just bought by Charles Cohen of Cohen Media. Again, these are holdovers. But they’ll do. They’re more about making a statement than making money.

EARLIER: No theaters in Manhattan will be showing “The Interview” on Christmas Day. I spoke to both the Angelika and Landmark, and they are skipping it. In fact, as of right now, only 2 theaters in Queens have it listed. No other theaters in the entire five boros of New York City will be screening the assassination of Kim Il Jong. Ditto for Beverly Hills, although one chain in L.A.– Regency– is showing it, and one theater in Malibu, Agoura Hills. Austin, Texas seems very keen on it, as does the whole Alamo chain. Mostly “The Interview” will show up on VOD. The live reading on Saturday night at Treehouse Theater is still the only place to see a semblance of the film in New York.

Here’s a list put together by Variety.

Sony Hack, “Interview” Release: Guardians of Peace Remain Silent After Mocking FBI in Video

0

So Sony is releasing “The Interview.” Where are the Guardians of Peace? We haven’t heard from them since they sent the FBI a mocking video three days ago. It seems more and more like the Sony hack was NOT about “The Interview” but more about humiliating and mocking Sony. Was it really North Korea? Or was it Anonymous making it seem like it was North Korea? And who was behind it? Dr. Evil? Or someone who really wanted to cause trouble for Sony execs?

Here’s the message sent to the FBI
The result of investigation by FBI is so excellent that you might have seen what we were doing with your own eyes.
We congratulate you success.
FBI is the BEST in the world.

You will find the gift for FBI at the following address.

Sony Will Show “The Interview” After Biggest PR Stunt in History, Much Ado About What?

0

“The Interview” will get released on Christmas Day, after all. The biggest PR stunt in history has come to an end as Sony is booking the Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy back into independent theaters. Or wait, maybe all the chains that said they wouldn’t take will take it after all. Whoops! Much ado about nothing! So much for North Korea and the Guardians of Peace. The movie remains unedited, with the assassination of Kim Jong Un okay now that every single breathing person in the world knows about it. No more “September 11th” threats. Cool! Now the world will get to see “The Interview” which is so- far- oh wait– just at 53% on Rotten Tomatoes, and uh, as we said back on December 10th, a stupid but fun movie. Will all this turn into box office magic? Hmmmm….We’ll see…

Beatles- Joe Cocker Connection: See the Rare Ad from the Fab Four Endorsing Cocker Circa 1968

0

EXCLUSIVE From our Beatles expert Martin Lewis:

Cocker’s version of “With A Little Help From My Friends” was recorded in Spring 1968. It was his own arrangement. Guitar on it was by Joe’s old pal (from back in 1964) Jimmy Page. Also on the track B. J. Wilson (drummer of Procol Harum).

The Beatles heard the track in summer of 1968 while they were working on the White Album. They loved it. The single was released in UK on Regal Zonophone label – a small imprint of EMI. Permission was sought to use the image of Ringo from the film Yellow Submarine. Which had been released in UK in July 1968. The Cocker single was released in October 1968.

The ad featuring Ringo appeared in all the UK consumer weekly music papers. NME, Melody Maker, Disc, Record Mirror. It was an immediate hit in UK. Went to #1. Was released by A&M in USA. The ad was used in Billboard. Alas the single was not a hit.

But then Joe appeared at Woodstock in 1969 – and America discovered Joe Cocker.”

Here’s the ad, thanks to Martin. Click on it to make it bigger. Reproductions are prohibited:

PAUL

“It’s really sad to hear about Joe’s passing. He was a lovely northern lad who I loved a lot and, like many people, I loved his singing. I knew him through the years as a good mate and I was so sad to hear that he had been ill and really sad to hear today that he had passed away. He was a great guy, a lovely guy who brought so much to the world and we’ll all miss him.

“I was especially pleased when he decided to cover With A Little Help From My Friends and I remember him and [producer] Denny Cordell coming round to the studio in Savile Row and playing me what they’d recorded and it was just mind-blowing, totally turned the song into a soul anthem and I was forever grateful for him for doing that.”

RINGO

“Goodbye and God bless to Joe Cocker from one of his friends peace and love. R.”
