Toronto Film Fest 2016: The Magnificent Seven Opening Night, Plus Birth of a Nation, Queen of Katwe, Manchester, Paterson

Share

The Toronto Film Festival (Sept 8th opening) is announcing its Galas and Special presentations this morning.

Nate Parker’s “Birth of a Nation” is already set for the first Friday, I’m told.

The new Mira Nair movie, “Queen of Katwe,” starring Lupita Nyong’o, will premiere on Saturday, Sept. 10th.

All together, a great selection. Should be exhausting!

Opening Night– The Magnificent Seven!

Closing Night Film– Edge of Seventeen

Keep refreshing…

Showbiz411 is now in its 13th year of providing breaking and exclusive entertainment news. This is an independent site, unlike the many Hollywood trades that are owned by one company. To continue providing news that takes a fresh look at what's going on in movies, music, theater, etc, advertising is our basis. Reader donations would be greatly appreciated, too. They are just another facet of keeping fact based journalism alive.
