Jamie Lee Curtis has posted a touching tribute to Robert Carradine, who died yesterday at age 71.

Jamie Lee says she met him live on Dinah Shore’s TV talk show. She recalls: “Bobby and I came on last and Bobby rearranged where we were all sitting so that he could sit next to me and he kissed me, live on television. A very public meet cute>”

It’s a sweet story with a sad ending.

Showbiz411 is now in its 13th year of providing breaking and exclusive entertainment news. This is an independent site, unlike the many Hollywood trades that are owned by one company. To continue providing news that takes a fresh look at what's going on in movies, music, theater, etc, advertising is our basis. Reader donations would be greatly appreciated, too. They are just another facet of keeping fact based journalism alive.
