It turns out Superman puts his boots on one at a time, like everybody else.

In the first still from the next “Superman” movie, actor David Corenswet is very carefully pulling on a red boot in the 2024 version of the Superman uniform. It would have been cooler to see him putting them on two at a time, or jumping into them. He looks like he’s in the Metropolis Florsheim shop.

The new outfit? It looks a lot like the old outfits, just spiffed up. If Lois Lane from the old TV show saw this guy on the street, she’d recognize him in a minute!

No word on whether this movie will explain why Superman isn’t Super Man, like Spider Man. Was it a name he got on Ellis Island? Instead of remaking the Krypton story over and over why doesn’t someone remake “The Mole Men”? Now, that would be cool! Stephen Miller could star.
