UPDATE: After getting battered in questions today on Face the Nation, South Dakota Governor Kristin Noem is removing from her new book that she ever met with Korean dictator Kim Jung Un.

EARLIER

Kristi Noem (rhymes with “gnome”) was a guest today on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

Noem is the governor of a state once run by the great George McGovern. How can the people there hold their heads up? She is an embarrassment to South Dakota and to the whole country.

Interviewed by Margaret Brennan, Noem hung herself by own her petard. She was publicizing her “book,” which will come out on Tuesday and is apparently full of fiction.

To Brennan, Noem lied and obfuscated like crazy. She immediately complained on Twitter immediately:

“This morning in our 15-minute interview, Margaret Brennan interrupted me 36 times — once every 25 seconds on average. But when liberals like @gretchenwhitmer and @SpeakerPelosi
are on @FaceTheNation, they aren’t interrupted once.

“In the fake news media, there are two sets of rules, and conservative are always treated differently. That’s why Americans don’t trust the Fake News.”

Noem lied at every turn. When Brennan asked her about meeting Korean dictator Kim Jung Un, the governor replied: “I’m not going to talk about my specific meetings with world leaders, I’m just not going to do that.” The fact is, they never met, but Noem had included the fake meeting in her book.

When asked about shooting her dog, Noem suggested President Biden should shoot his own dog.

Noem: “Well, number one, Joe Biden’s dog has attacked 24 Secret Service people. So how many people is enough people to be attacked and dangerously hurt before you make a decision on a dog? And —

BRENNAN: — Well he’s not living at the White House anymore–

NOEM: — That’s the question that the President should be held accountable to.

BRENNAN: — You’re saying he should be shot?–

NOEM: — That what’s the president should be accountable to.

How can the people of South Dakota not be nauseated by this woman? How have so many local governments in this country fallen prey to completely despicable people with low IQs, no respect for life, or dignity? It’s surreal.

The book is called “No Going Back.” If you buy it, that’s what will happen — there’s no getting that twentysomething bucks back. Noem told Brennan she refuses to retract all the bogus claims included in the book.
