“American Idol” Escapee Wyatt Pike Drops an Indie Single, Still No Explanation for Exiting Show


Why did 20 year old Wyatt Pike leave “American Idol”? No one knows. He said on Instagram it was because of “personal reasons.” But he looks fine in his photos and videos. It’s not a health thing. It might be to avoid signing the management contract from 19 Entertainment. Maybe he’ll get a better deal now that people know who he is.

Anyway, here’s “Friday Nights.” I don’t think singer songwriters are right for “Idol.” It’s a show more for big belters and show stoppers. Wyatt needs Clive Davis. Clive?
