“Spider Man: No Way Home” set a record with the 3rd highest ever Thursday previews at the box office. Total was $50 million.

AMC Theater stock is up 14% on the news. “Spider Man” is on its way to a $150 million weekend, maybe more.

This is despite the pandemic and theater going at a low in recent months. But the audience is piling in to see all the characters from 20 years of these movies return for one big rodeo. Amazing. And the movie is good!

Showbiz411 is now in its 13th year of providing breaking and exclusive entertainment news. This is an independent site, unlike the many Hollywood trades that are owned by one company. To continue providing news that takes a fresh look at what's going on in movies, music, theater, etc, advertising is our basis. Reader donations would be greatly appreciated, too. They are just another facet of keeping fact based journalism alive.
