The Drudge Report has given Donald Trump the headline he most feared, deserved, and earned after four years:

“You’re fired!”

Drudge angered his far right followers after splitting with Trump more than a year ago. My guess is that Matt Drudge, who brought down Bill Clinton and maintained his conservative bent for the last 20 years, saw something in Trump that scared him: his basic cruelty and meanness.

And Drudge more than likely saw the stupidity. The Drudge Report is a political site, and Trump refused to be political or diplomatic. Instead of the Art of the Deal, Trump used a mallet to get what he wanted, which was almost always unpopular and against common sense. He was punitive. And now he’s gotten the ultimate punishment.

Showbiz411 is now in its 13th year of providing breaking and exclusive entertainment news. This is an independent site, unlike the many Hollywood trades that are owned by one company. To continue providing news that takes a fresh look at what's going on in movies, music, theater, etc, advertising is our basis. Reader donations would be greatly appreciated, too. They are just another facet of keeping fact based journalism alive.
