Robert Pattinson is no vampire after all. He’s human.

The co-star of “Tenet,” opening tomorrow, has tested positive for COVID 19. The result is that production on “The Batman,” Matt Reeves’ new caped crusader movie, has shut down.

Each are Warner Bros. movies.

“Tenet” — which I reviewed on Monday– was postponed many times because theaters aren’t open everywhere. As it is, “Tenet” will not play in New York, New Jersey. California and parts of many states. It cost upwards of $200 million to make and has already earned around $53 million around the world.

Warner Bros. will only say: “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”

Well, Warner’s can use this as a publicity hook: If only Robert Pattinson really could go back in time, he could stop himself from getting infected!

Showbiz411 is now in its 13th year of providing breaking and exclusive entertainment news. This is an independent site, unlike the many Hollywood trades that are owned by one company. To continue providing news that takes a fresh look at what's going on in movies, music, theater, etc, advertising is our basis. Reader donations would be greatly appreciated, too. They are just another facet of keeping fact based journalism alive.
