So there are three Daily Wire movies. One of them has already been released.

A second one, called “Pawn Shop,” has been filmed. But my sources from the set say the actors were never told the conservative website was involved, or it’s founder Ben Shapiro.

The third movie, “Confession,” has just been announced. Other actors in “Confession” include Rob Lowe, Jennifer Jason Leigh, James Franco, Nick Nolte, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Brad Dourif, Emile Hirsch, and Dean Norris. From the trailer, it looks unintentionally hilarious.

“Pawn Shop” — directed by Michael Polish, former husband of Kate Bosworth — features among its cast Danny Trejo, Henry Thomas of “ET” fame, and Harvey Keitel. Trejo’s son has said that his father didn’t know Shapiro was involved. I’m told Keitel didn’t either. It’s possible the actors signed up for “Confession,” like Jennifer Jason Leigh and Rob Lowe, weren’t told either.

So what’s “Pawn Shop” all about? A source says: “The movie is pretty balanced in that the young ICE agent has no back up and no help from his ICE people and they look pretty bad. And he’s got this guy who begs him to let him go. Says he’s a hard-working guy with a family. The ICE agent takes refuge in a pawnshop owned by older Hispanic guy whose son just comes home from college and is very woke and the father and son fight until the antifa people start attacking the pawnshop.”

My source adds: “From the script, the guys people look pretty bad and so did the Antifa follow up people. It turns out that this guy that the ICE agent captured who looks like a victim of all of it is an M-13 gangster after all, sort of like the New York situation. But it’s really just a backdrop for a western shootout movie.”

The first Daily Wire movie, “Run, Hide, Fight: Infidels,” stars Jonathan Majors, the actor who lost his career when he was accused of, but ultimately found not guilty, of domestic abuse. Like a of the people mentioned above — Franco (who paid $2 million to settle a lawsuit from female former acting students) and so on — Majors, a pariah, was lucky to get this work.

“Run, Hide, Fight” has already been widely panned on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 27% so far.

Who’s paying for all these movies? Shapiro and his conservative cohorts. The films are not going to movie theaters. They will play on streaming, VOD, and the Daily Wire website. Anyone who stumbles on them will ask themselves, How did these actors get involved in such a terrible movie?
