There’s still no promo for tonight’s “60 Minutes.”
On social media, CBS has posted minute long clips of segments on the Secret Service, and on musician Jon Batiste.
Norah O’Donnell, who’s become an unfortunate stooge for CBS News chief Bari Weiss, did the Secret Service piece. It’s a valentine for the beleaguered agency, and a warning to anyone who might try anything with Donald Trump.
O’Donnell is destroying whatever legacy she had so far this season. The Secret Service piece follows her salute to Pete Hegseth and the Department of Jackasses.
Batiste is very talented, but there’s no news hook seeing him playing music in a stage New York subway scene.
What’s the third segment tonight? It’s not on politics or the environment or the war or the Nobel Peace Prize. Or why flash flooding is taking place all over the world. Or the price of gas or groceries.
Facing a drone threat unlike any in its history, the Secret Service has a new multimillion-dollar program to develop offensive and defensive drone capabilities.
