(WATCH) Best Picture 2024? Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” Has All the Markings of A Massive Hit with Lots of Nominations


This may finally be Christopher Nolan’s year. The director of “Dunkirk, “Memento,” Dark Night-Batman movies looks like he’s finally made his masterwork with “Oppenheimer,” coming in July.

“Oppenheimer” has an an all star cast with Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer. Matt Damon — who could be a lead Best Actor in “Air” and a supporting here, as Leslie Groves, the general who ran the Manhattan Project for Oppenheimer, plus Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., and so on.

We haven’t a Big Important Movie in a long time, but it’s about time. This is the kind of movie the Oscars need, and everyone can get behind.
