Bill Cosby Defiant Upon Release, Rubs It In Instead of Shutting Up and Going Home

Bill Cosby is out of jail on a technicality. He doesn’t get it: people hate him. He has no constituency. Instead of shutting up and going home, he’s rubbing it in. On Instagram, he’s posted a picture of himself with a power salute and a victory statement. They say he’s blind, but there are none so blind who cannot see. (That’s what Goldie Hawn said in Butterflies Are Free, I think.)

Here’s Cosby’s statement. He should stop now, and consider silence.

“I have never changed my stance nor my story. I have always maintained my innocence.
Thank you to all my fans, supporters and friends who stood by me through this ordeal. Special thanks to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for upholding the rule of law.”

Showbiz411 is now in its 13th year of providing breaking and exclusive entertainment news. This is an independent site, unlike the many Hollywood trades that are owned by one company. To continue providing news that takes a fresh look at what's going on in movies, music, theater, etc, advertising is our basis. Reader donations would be greatly appreciated, too. They are just another facet of keeping fact based journalism alive.
Thank you
