Emmys: “Saturday Night Live” Gets Nine Acting Nominations Including Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump

“Saturday Night Live” picked up six acting nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards, as well as Best Comedy Show.

He was nominated!

Supporting acting nods from the show went to regulars Kenan Thompson, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Leslie Jones. Guest stars who were nominated included Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Tiffany Haddish, Donald Glover, and Bill Hader (who also was nominated for his HBO show, “Barry.”)

“SNL” was the only show produced by Lorne Michaels that received an Emmy nod. Both “Jimmy Fallon” and “Seth Meyers” were blanked, although Meyers show picked up a writing nomination.
