Bob Dylan Rebuffs Nobel Committee, Will NOT Accept Prize for Literature in Person

Bob Dylan will NOT accept his Nobel Prize for Literature in person on December 11th.

In a statement, the Royal Swedish Academy said: “He would have liked to be able to receive the prize in person, but other commitments make it unfortunately impossible. He stressed that he felt extremely honored by this Nobel Prize.”

But not enough to be polite and accept the honor. Oscar? Sure. Grammy? Why not? But Nobel? Nope.
