(Watch) Audra McDonald, Richard Kind, Idina Menzel Broadway Stars Triumphant DNC Performance


A Who’s Who of Broadway sang Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s “What the World Needs Now Is Love” tonight on the Democratic Convention. It was a total triumph. Watch the video and spot Audra McDonald, Richard Kind, Idina Menzel, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Ben Vereen, Rosie Perez, Lena Hall, Montego Glover, BD Wong, Darren Criss, and stars from all the shows knock it out of the park. That’s Carmen Cusack toward the end, she was the star of “Bright Star.” Also look for Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless’s “Cagney and Lacy” reunion.
