I really don’t get how this works.

The official number of viewers who watched “The Last of Us” on HBO Sunday night was 747.000.

HBO says that a total of 6.2 million watched all together– on HBO Max, I guess and other systems. Roku? UHF? I don’t know.

Anyway, “The Last of Us” increased its basic viewing number from the previous week by about 100,000, so that’s good. The episode is getting a lot of attention as a standalone feature gay love story with special guests Murray Bartlett and Nick Offerman. Linda Ronstadt’s song “Long Long Time” was featured and is now a hit.
