Jill Scott is one of the greatest R&B singers ever. Sometimes she acts, and now she has a series. On Lifetime. It’s remake of “Highway to Heaven,” which starred the late Michael Landon as an angel. It’s hokey, I know, but Jill has a great smile. Maybe they’ll let her sing. For a minute I thought she was playing the Della Reese part, but that was another angel show– “Touched by an Angel.”
