Trump Rebuked: Jamal Khashoggi, the Capital Gazette, Maria Ressa, Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo—are TIME’s Person of the Year 2018


TIME Magazine rebuked Donald Trump and didn’t choose him as Person of the Year. The TIME editors, in light of Trump constantly calling the press “the enemy of the people,” chose slain, imprisoned, convicted journalists as their Person of the Year. They call them “The Guardians of Truth.” It’s a brilliant and sad choice. Trump has enabled the murders of journalists and this is the result. Read the whole story at
