Box Office UPDATE: “Spider Man” Swings to SECOND Biggest Weekend Ever After All Numbers Come In!

Share

It’s a sweet update for Peter Parker and Pals.

“Spider Man: No Way Home” has revised numbers this morning, up from $253 million to $260 million in the US.

This makes the 8th Spider Man movie the second highest grossing debut weekend of all films, moving it up from 3rd place. “No Way Home” now usurps “Avengers Infinity War” on the all time list.

At this rate, “No Way Home” should cross the $300 million mark by mid week if not sooner.

Elsewhere in the world, “No Way Home” has brought in $340 million, bringing the entire box office to $600 million in less than a week. That’s the 2nd highest international debut as well!

PS I love that Tom Holland is saying in interviews that he wants to “take time off now to start a family.” This is a great negotiating tactic since Sony wants three more Spider Man movies over the next five-to-seven years. Holland is just 25, and unless he knows something we don’t, it should take him about an hour to start a family. I think his girlfriend, Zendaya, would be the one getting pregnant, although she’s just 25 and may want to do other things with her life.
