Told Ya: Clive Davis Books Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Jennifer Hudson for Central Park

Share

I told you a couple of weeks ago. Now it’s confirmed.

Clive Davis has lined up more superstars for his August 21st Central Park mega show.

In addition to my earlier scoop, Clive is welcoming Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, and Jennifer Hudson. Patti Smith will also make an appearance.

I told you this would happen.

Now we have all these artists, and Santana with Rob Thomas. Clive isn’t finished yet. Originally he said there would be 8 superstar artists. With Patti Smith singing with Bruce, that counts as one. Santana and Rob Thomas count as one. So he still has four to go.

My guess: Earth Wind & Fire will figure in this story.

As I told you exclusively this afternoon, CNN has the broadcast rights. That’s where Page Six “learned’ about it. Right here.

More to come…
