Comic Hasan Minhaj Says His Netflix Show “Patriot Act” Is Over After Just 2 Years

Political comic Hasan Minhaj says his Netflix show “Patriot Act” is over after just 2 years. The show won an Emmy, Peabody Award, and two Webby Awards. It’s interesting that Netflix didn’t try to have it on this fall during the election. Too controversial? You bet. Great work.

He writes on Twitter:

“What a run.

@patriotact

has come to an end. I got to work with the best writers, producers, researchers, and animators in the game. My 2 babies were born and grew up with the show. TY to

@Netflix

and everyone who watched. Now it’s time to return these screens to Best Buy”
