Sony Will Show “The Interview” After Biggest PR Stunt in History, Much Ado About What?

Share

“The Interview” will get released on Christmas Day, after all. The biggest PR stunt in history has come to an end as Sony is booking the Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy back into independent theaters. Or wait, maybe all the chains that said they wouldn’t take will take it after all. Whoops! Much ado about nothing! So much for North Korea and the Guardians of Peace. The movie remains unedited, with the assassination of Kim Jong Un okay now that every single breathing person in the world knows about it. No more “September 11th” threats. Cool! Now the world will get to see “The Interview” which is so- far- oh wait– just at 53% on Rotten Tomatoes, and uh, as we said back on December 10th, a stupid but fun movie. Will all this turn into box office magic? Hmmmm….We’ll see…
