Pink Floyd’s New Endless “Endless River”: One Hour, 5 Minutes, and Only One Track with Vocals

Share

Excuse me. I guess I wasn’t paying attention. I knew that Pink Floyd’s “Endless River” was stitched together from old material. I knew that Roger Waters wasn’t part of it. But I didn’t know that it was all instrumentals save for one bit of of one track. One hour, five minutes of that stuff you hear in spas- – kind of spacey new age stuff.

Only one track, called “Louder than Words,” has some Dave Gilmour singing. Otherwise, if you’re looking for the sequel to “Dark Side of the Moon,” it ain’t happening.

You can listen to “Endless River” on Spotify. Try and stay awake. It’s going to be great at bed time.
