Once, a long time ago, Terrence Malick seemed like a brilliant filmmaker. “Days of Heaven” to me was the finest accomplishment ever. But starting with “Tree of Life,” it’s just self indulgent city– images, narration, inner monologues, stuff that doesn’t make sense. “To the Wonder” made 8 cents.
