Great quote in the clip from Eric Clapton about sharing taste in cars, clothes and “women, of course.” George and Eric were each married to Patti Boyd. But it looks like the film, which will be shown over two nights on HBO this fall, will also deal a lot with George’s spiritual life and his movie producing. So true, Roger. We lost a musical (and spiritual) giant when he passed. Wish I had HBO. Hopefully it will come out on DVD later.

You had to love Dark Horse, especially how the odds were stacked against him in the band. I hope Scorsese gets into how John and Paul laid down the law and told George you’re only getting two songs an album and that’s all we’ll be hearing from you.
