The successor to King Edward VIII was not his “brother George,” he was his brother Albert, who was known to the family as Bertie. When he succeeded Edward (who was known to the family as David) to the throne he chose to rule as George VI, but it is inaccurate to refer to him as “Edward’s brother George,” because Edward and Albert actually had a younger brother named George, who became the Duke of Kent.

I’m very much afraid of the results, and yet i’m almost excited where it’s going. hope Madonna gets it right; maturity and calm must’ve pervaded her life recently. hope the end result doesn’t get soppy.
